I have been advocating for residents of Santa Cruz County since 1999.
I volunteered at Women’s Crisis Support/Defensa de Mujeres (now Monarch Services) for approximately three years. There I advocated for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by preparing restraining orders and accompanying victims to court. I interned at the Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Office and assisted victims of crime in obtaining counseling, medical care, and relocation assistance. Furthermore, I interned at California Rural Legal assistance and helped low income residents of the county with landlord/tenant issues.
During this time, I also attended graduate school and law school in the evenings, worked as a personal injury paralegal during the day, and worked as a server at local restaurants on the weekends. I have been a Board Member of Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County since 2010, and also served as the President in 2013.
Since obtaining my license to practice law, I have represented hundreds of personal injury victims in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.
I am here to listen to your concerns, explain the claims and litigation process in simple terms, and handle all legal matters so you can focus solely on your health and recovery.
